I lived in Ukraine for four months with base of operations in Mykolaïv, making exploratory trips to Odessa, Kiev, Kherson and also to villages occupied by the Russian army in the Mykolaïv and Kherson regions.

Despite the constant shelling, the absence of water and electricity, the scenario of destruction and occupation and life in shelters for months, I tried to capture together the horror of a war on Europe's gateway and the fighting resilience of a population willing to show the world what is happening in their land.
